Underfloor Heating
Many people like the feel of warm tiles underfoot. Tiles on a screeded or concrete floor can often feel quite cold, especially in the Winter months. Underfloor heating can be applied under tiles on practically any flooring, even a wet room or carpeted floor, when correctly installed.
JPS Tiling Solutions can offer a service to install your underfloor heating whilst tiling work is being carried out, There are several suppliers of these products that I would be happy to discuss with you.
Underfloor heating systems fall into 2 categories: Wet (or water filled) and Dry (electrical). In the main, wet systems are installed during house build stage as they are generally of a higher profile and more complex to instal. The dry systems are more suited to retrofit, and come in variety of free cable or matted versions. Underfloor heating can act as a primary heating source or a secondary heat source, dependant on what you buy, There are multiple options to suit different budgets.
Both systems have their pro's and con's, and almost anything is possible!
